Questions & Answers
Can I order more than 1 item?
Yes, if you need something not listed, just ask and we will get it invoiced. Items that may be wanted are the dumpster of choice and the Cancelation insurance, or the damage and Fire protection Fee, or the Driveway Surface Protection Fee. We try to make it so all itmes are on our order page, but some items are not listed but needed.
What Size Dumpster Should I Rent
We want you to have the correct rental dumpster. If you order the wrong size container, you may not have enough room, or even worse you end up with too heavy of a load that exceeds the capacity of our equipment. This does not happen often, but it can happen. Roofers typically will use a smaller dumpster due to the weight of the shingles, where as tree branches take more space and can weigh less (depending on the size of branches. Stumps are very heavy).
What is a roll-off Dumpster?
A roll off dumpster is given the name due to the way it rolls from the truck or trailer. It is a heavy built container that can hold a large amount of solid waste.
What is the most commonly rented container?
The 20 yard is our work horse. It is big enough to fit most every driveway, but small enough to be practical. A 20 yard dumpster hold approximately 120 32-Gallon trash bags of waste or 8 standard pick up truck loads.
What size of dumpsters do you have?
We carry: 15, 20, 25, 30, 40 Yard dumpster for nearly every use. The 30 and 40 yard are typically not for most contractors or home projects. We find the 15 yard is great for most residential uses. 20 and 25 work best for contractors.
What is a Yard and how much does each dumpster hold?
A yard is a measurement. It is 3Ft Cubed. So 3Ft x 3Ft x 3Ft = 1 Yard.
- 15 Yard dumpster will hold around 80 32-Gallon garbage bags of waste.
- 20 Yard Dumpster will hold around 110-130 32-Gallon bags of waste.
- 25 Yard Dumpster will hold around 140 32-Gallon bags of waste.
- 30 Yard Dumpster will hold around 170-190 32-Gallon bags of waste.
- 40 Yard Dumpster will hold around 220-250 32-Gallon bags of waste.
That is a lot of waste
Do I need to know exactly where I want the dumpster to be placed for delivery?
Short answer is YES. We do charge to mover the dumpster once it is placed. If we don’t know where you want it, we wont drop the dumpster.
What if I finish up early with the dumpster?
We are known to give credit towards the next dumpster or even give a discount if you can finish earlier. We do this because it allows us to get our equipment to the next customer earlier.
What if I have some of the prohibited items to dispose?
If the items you have are listed with an Asterisk (*) then we just need to know how many you have. This is important as some dump sites will not allow some of the items, while others will just charge an additional fee. If we take items that are not permitted and don’t know about them, there may be some additional fees that are way more than expected due to the “reloading” of the items and the travel time needed to dispose at a willing facility.
Do I need to pre-pay?
Yes. Although there is no way for us to know what your final bill will be till the items are disposed properly, we will know the initial delivery fee. From there we keep your card on file till the final bill is paid.
What if I fill the dumpster prior to the rental period and need it again?
We can empty it and bring it back. We call this a “Dump and Return”. It does have additional cost, but is discounted from the initial delivery.
